General Terms

1. Who we are

Step Ahead Partner provides software tools and website services for businesses. Contact: info@stepaheadpartner.com

2. Purchases and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details. By purchasing, you authorize the charge described at checkout. Subscription products bill automatically on your signup date each period until cancelled.

3. Digital tools and downloads

One-time purchases of our software tools and reports grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them in your own business. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense them. Because these are delivered digitally and immediately, they are generally non-refundable — but if a tool doesn't work as described, contact us and we'll make it right.

4. Refunds

If something we sold you doesn't do what we said it does, tell us at info@stepaheadpartner.com and we'll fix it or refund you. Refunds for subscription services are covered in the Website Leasing section below.

5. Your responsibilities

You're responsible for the accuracy of information you give us, for having the rights to any content, images, or logos you send us, and for making sure what you ask us to publish is truthful and lawful.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use our services for anything unlawful, deceptive, or infringing, or to publish content that impersonates someone else or misrepresents your business.

7. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.

8. No guarantee of results

We build sites and tools designed to perform well. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic volumes, lead counts, or revenue. Anyone who guarantees those things is guessing.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and for subscription customers we'll give notice by email before changes take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Orange County, California.

11. What the monthly fee includes

• A custom-designed website built for your business
• Fast, secure hosting with an SSL certificate
• Unlimited reasonable content and design edits (see 12)
• Security updates, backups, and uptime monitoring
• Basic on-page SEO setup so search engines can read your site correctly
• A real person to contact when you need something

12. What "unlimited edits" means

Unlimited edits covers content and design changes to your existing site — updating text, swapping photos, changing hours, adjusting services, tweaking layout. We normally turn these around within 1–2 business days.

It does not cover: unlimited new pages, complete redesigns, custom web applications, e-commerce functionality, or development work beyond the scope of the original build. If a request falls outside this, we'll tell you before doing anything and quote it separately.

13. What is not included

Paid advertising, SEO campaigns, content writing beyond basic page copy, third-party software fees, professional photography, and custom development are not included. All are available as separate paid services.

14. Timeline

We deliver your first design version within 7 days of receiving your completed onboarding form. Your site launches when you approve it. Delays caused by outstanding content, photos, or feedback from you extend that timeline.

15. Your domain and content

Your domain stays registered in your name. Your content, your photos, and your logo remain yours. If you leave, we'll transfer your domain and hand over your content within 5 business days of your request.

What you are leasing — and do not own — is the website code, the hosting, and the ongoing management. That's what the monthly fee covers.

16. Billing

Your card is charged when you subscribe and on the same date each month thereafter. If a payment fails, we'll retry and email you. If payment isn't resolved within 14 days, we may suspend the site until it is.

17. Cancellation

Cancel anytime through your billing portal at stepaheadpartner.com/manage-billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't refund partial months. When your lease ends, your site is taken offline, and your domain and content are returned to you on request.

18. Our right to decline

We may decline or end a lease for content that is unlawful, deceptive, or that we're not willing to publish. If we end a lease for that reason, we'll refund the current month.
